Moody's Corp. (MCO) traded in a narrow range until around 1:00PM Monday, but steadily declined for the remainder of the session. Shares finished down by 5.90 at $49.45 on the highest volume of the year.
Moody's sank to a one-month low and dropped below its 50-day moving average. The stock was under pressure due to the lawsuit that the DOJ is planning to file against its competitor Standard & Poor's.
