Vampire Weekend have confirmed that their forthcoming release, due May 7, will be titled Modern Vampires of the City. Frontman Ezra Koenig says it getting the LP right was an arduous process.
"There was a certain point where we kind of knew deep down that it didn't quite feel right. We tried all different ways of working . . . little by little, until we reached a point where we could feel awesome about every song," he told RollingStone.com.
The band also confirmed a U.S. tour for the spring, beginning with a handful of dates at Austin, Texas' South by Southwest festival.
