Jack White recently hooked up with Gibby Haynes, fronter for the Butthole Surfers, for three tracks to be released as a single on White's own label, Third Man Records.

The single features two original tracks — "You Don't Have to Be Smart" and "Horse Named George" — as well as a cover of hardcore band Adrenalin OD's song "Paul's Not Home."

The single is part of Third Man Records' Blue Series, which has also seen special releases by Laura Marling, Tom Jones, Insane Clown Posse, Jeff the Brotherhood and Beck.

The White-Haynes collab will be available on February 14, with a limited pressing onto old medical x-rays that White calls a "flex-ray disc."

In the meantime, catch White as he performs at the upcoming Grammy awards (February 10), where his debut solo album, Blunderbuss, has been nominated for Album of the Year.
