Norwegian energy firm Statoil ASA (STO) posted lower fourth-quarter 2012 net income of 13.0 billion Norwegian Kroner, compared with last year's 25.5 billion Kroner, with earnings per share dropping to 4.07 Kroner, from 7.99 Kroner a year ago.
Quarterly adjusted earnings totaled 48.3 billion Kroner, and adjusted earnings after tax stood at 15.1 billion Kroner.
Total revenues and other income were 160.62 billion Kroner, compared with 182.73 billion Kroner in the fourth quarter of 2011.
