Earnings Watch For Feb 7 (CTSH, ATVI, HAS, LNKD, RVBD)

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp. (CTSH), the provider of IT, consulting, and business process outsourcing services, is expected to report fourth quarter results before the markets open. The earnings of the company are expected to increase to $0.91 per share from $0.78 per share reported a year earlier, while quarterly revenues are anticipated to rise to $1.95 billion from last year's $1.66 billion. Activision Blizzard, Inc. (ATVI) is scheduled to report fourth quarter results. The world's largest video game publisher is expected to post earnings of $0.72 per share, higher than the year-ago quarter's $0.62 per share. Also, the company is anticipated to generate revenues of $2.44 billion, up from $2.41 billion in the prior-year quarter. The company's shares closed Wednesday's session at $11.94. Games and toys manufacturer Hasbro Inc. (HAS) is slated to report results for the fourth quarter. The company is expected to report a profit of $1.19 per share, up from $1.06 per share last year, whereas revenues are projected to decline to $1.28 billion from $1.33 billion reported in the prior year quarter. Mountain View, California-based LinkedIn Corp. (LNKD) is due to report its fourth quarter results after the close of trading. The professional networking giant is expected to report a profit of $0.19 per share versus $0.12 per share last year, with revenues estimated at $279.50 million. The stock closed Wednesday at $125.77. (52-wk H/L $127.45/$74.32)

Networking solutions company Riverbed Technology, Inc. (RVBD) will report its fourth quarter results today. The San Francisco, California-based company is expected to report earnings of $0.29 per share on revenues of $234.77 million. A year earlier, earnings and revenue were $0.25 per share and $204.02 million respectively. The stock closed Wednesday's regular trading at $20.31. (52-wk H/L $29.59/$13.30)
