Rich Moore, director of the recent animated release "Wreck-It Ralph" noted that he hopes to land an appearance from Nintendo's Mario if he makes a sequel.

Speaking with DigitalSpy.com, Moore said he'd love to land the iconic game character for the next edition:

"If we're lucky enough to have a sequel then we'll create that moment that's perfect for [Mario]," he revealed.

He adds that he wanted to get Mario in the first film, but it just didn't quite work:

"Over the course of developing the story I was always looking for the perfect moment or scene to include Mario. But it had to be organic, it had to feel like [the scene] was made for him and unfortunately as we were developing the story that moment never made itself clear."
