ValueClick Inc. (VCLK: Quote) reported fourth quarter adjusted EPS of $0.56 after the close Wednesday, which topped the consensus estimate of $0.52. First quarter adjusted EPS is expected to be between $0.39 and $0.41, compared to the consensus estimate of $0.39.
ValueClick gapped open sharply higher Thursday and spiked to the upside in early trade, before settling into a narrow range. The stock closed up by 4.26 at $26.09, with volume at a 9-month high. ValueClick surged past resistance and set a new high for the year.
