j2 Global Inc. (JCOM: Quote) reported fourth quarter adjusted EPS of $0.70 after the bell Wednesday, up from $0.64 a year ago. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.62. Full year 2013 adjusted EPS is expected to be between $2.65 and $2.85, compared to the consensus estimate of $2.62.
j2 Global gapped open sharply higher Thursday and rose in early trade, before settling into a range. The stock finished with a gain of 4.47 at $36.31 on strong volume. j2 Global leaped to a new high for the year.
