Asbury Automotive Group Inc.'s (ABG: Quote) fourth-quarter net income improved to $22.8 million, or $0.73 per share, from $21.5 million, or $0.68 per share in the prior-year period. On average, 11 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected earnings per share of $0.65 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.

Total revenues increased 15% year-over-year to $1.22 billion, from $1.06 billion, while 8 analysts estimated revenues of $1.18 billion for the quarter.
