Sauer-Danfoss Inc. (SHS) Wednesday reported a drop in profit for the fourth quarter, due mainly to lower revenues.
Net income declined to $19.9 million or $0.41 per share from $27.4 million or $0.57 per share in the same period last year.
Meanwhile, revenues totaled $413.0 million, down 7 percent from $446.1 million last year. Excluding the currency translation impacts, sales declined 6 percent from the same quarter last year.
Looking ahead to the fiscal year 2013, the company expects earnings for the full-year 2013 to range between $3.25 and $4.25 per share.
