Redington India Tie-Up W Amazon Seller Services

Redington (India) Ltd. said Amazon Seller Services Pvt. Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Amazon.com Inc. had appointed the company as a National Distributor for their kindle devices.

The company said this distribution tie-up would give the company an entry into e-reader segment.

The Seattle-based and a Fortune 500 company Amazon.com Inc. is engaged in e-commerce business and offers wide range of products online in categories such as Books, Movies, Music and Games, etc. Amazon Kindle devices enable users to shop for download, browse and read e-books, newspapers, magazines, blogs and other digital media via wireless networking.

At the BSE, Redington (India) closed Tuesday's trading at Rs.85, up 0.06 percent from the previous close.
