WILEX AG (WLXMF.PK) reported a fiscal 2012 pretax loss of 9.4 millon euros compared to a loss of 13.9 million euros last year. Loss per share in euros, was 0.36 compared to a loss of 0.67 prior year. Sales revenue increased to 16.1 million euros from 9.9 million euro last year, mainly due to the individual components of the licence agreement with Prometheus.
WILEX said the disappointing results of the ARISER trial announced in October 2012 did not have a material negative impact on the Group's financial figures. The only factor pushing down earnings was the provision for restructuring measures amounting to 0.4 million euros, which was mainly recognised for salaries and termination benefits and was largely allocated to research and development expenses.
The Group expects sales revenue and other income in the 2013 financial year to be between 15.0 million euros and 19.0 million euros.
