Dewhurst PLC (DWHT.L), as already announced in the Chairman's Statement of the Company's annual report and accounts for the year ended September 30, 2012, said that customer demand in the UK started the new year slowly and that weakness has continued to date. Though Group results are traditionally stronger in the second half, and management have no reason to expect any change in that pattern this year, the board now sees full-year profits to be significantly lower than current consensus.
