Ron Livingston has reportedly signed on to appear in a recurring role in the upcoming new season of HBO's hit original series "Boardwalk Empire." According to ew.com, Livingston will appear as Roy Phillips, an out-of-town business man who visits Atlantic City and becomes a possible love interest for Gillian Darmody (Gretchen Mol).
This is just the most recent HBO appearance for Livingston, who has won praise for his roles in "Sex And The City," "Band Of Brothers" and "Game Change." The show's fourth season is currently in production and is scheduled to air on HBO later this year.
The news comes at a busy time for Livingston, who has recently been focusing on the big screen. His current release "Touchy Feely" premiered at Sundance, while another new release "Drinking Buddies" will debut at SXSW. He also appears in New Line's upcoming thriller "The Conjuring."
