Argentinian telecommunication services provider Telecom Argentina S.A. (TEO) Thursday reported improved profit for the full-year, reflecting increased revenue driven mainly by the Mobile Services, Broadband business and Fixed Data.
For the period, the firm posted net income attributable to company of P$2.685 billion, up from P$2.513 billion last year.
The Buenos Aires based firm clocked an operating income of P$3.966 billion, up from P$3.857 billion last year.
Total revenue for the year amounted to P$22.117 billion compared with prior-year figure of P$18.498 billion. Revenue from fixed internet shot up 28 percent, revenue from fixed data rose 26 percent while revenue from mobile businesses in Argentina jumped 22 percent, all versus last year.
Average Revenue per user for mobile services in Argentina per month was P$57.7, up 12 percent from P$51.4 a year earlier.
