BroadSoft Inc. (BSFT: Quote) reported fourth quarter adjusted EPS of $0.47 after the bell Wednesday, up from $0.38 a year ago. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.41. The company expects to report first quarter adjusted EPS of $0.02 to $0.12 and between $1.10 and $1.35 for the full year 2013. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $0.34 and $1.72.
BroadSoft gapped open sharply lower Thursday and fell in early trade, before settling into a narrow range. The stock closed down by 9.91 at $21.00 on the highest volume of the year. BroadSoft closed testing the lows of the year, trading at a 7-month low.
