Youku Tudou Inc. (YOKU) a Chinese Internet television company, reported a net loss for the fourth quarter of RMB 113.6 million or RMB 0.69 per ADS, compared to a pro forma combined net loss of RMB 198.5 million or RMB 1.23 per ADS for the year-ago quarter.
Adjusted net loss for the latest quarter was RMB 62.3 million, compared to the pro forma combined adjusted net loss of RMB 174.6 million in the prior year quarter.
Net revenue for the fourth quarter rose to RMB 635.83 million from pro forma combined net revenues of RMB 489.35 million a year ago.
On August 23, 2012, the company and Tudou Holdings Ltd. announced the completion of the merger between Youku and Tudou. Following the completion of the merger, Tudou's financial results were consolidated into the company from the date of the completion of the merger. Looking forward, the company forecast first quarter net revenues of RMB 480 million to RMB 520 million.
