Deckers Outdoor Corp. (DECK) reported fourth quarter EPS of $2.77 after the bell Thursday, down from $3.18 in the previous year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $2.61. The company expects to report a first quarter loss of $0.12 and expects full year EPS to increase approximately 5% over 2012 levels. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $0.06 and $3.70.
Deckers Outdoor gapped up sharply Friday and climbed in early trade. The stock took out the session highs around 1:30PM and closed up by 6.21 at $46.62 on above average volume. Deckers rose to a 5 1/2 month high.
