South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor Co. (HYUD.L, HYMLF.PK, HYMTF.PK) reported a 1.5% percent improvement in total sales for February 2013 to 366,446 units, from 360,979 units last year.
On the other hand, domestic sales for the recent month fell 11.5% year-on-year to 47,489 units, from 53,647 units, while monthly overseas sales went up 3.8% to 318,957 units, from 307,332 units in February 2012.
The company said the above sales units exclude CKD exports, whereas the overseas sales units for 2013 include the overseas plants' sales results.
