Ophir Energy Plc (OPHR.L) recorded a wider pre-tax loss from continuing operations of $40.94 million in 2012, versus a $19.1 million loss last year.
The loss for the period includes exploration expenditure expensed of $4.5 million, administrative costs of $36.4 million, finance income of $0.6 million, interest income of $1.0 million, and other expenses of $1.7 million, according to the company.
Revenue for the full year 2012 slumped to $1.02 million, from $14.68 million a year earlier.
