WestJet (WJA.TO) Tuesday reported a rise in traffic for the month of February, as capacity increased by 3.1 percent.
In February, the airline flew 1.4 million guests, an increase of 5.5 per cent over last year.
Traffic, measured in revenue passenger miles or RPMs, increased 7.3 percent to 1.61 billion from 1.50 billion last year.
Capacity, measured in available seat miles or ASMs, totaled 1.87 billion, up from 1.81 billion last year.
Load factor improved 3.4 points to 86.1 percent from 82.7 percent last year.
