Decliners:

American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. (AEO) is declining 8 percent to $20.65. The company's fourth quarter profit and net revenue improved from the year-ago quarter. Meanwhile, the company forecast first quarter earnings below Wall Street view, with comparable store sales in the negative mid-single digit range. Further, the company's board authorized 20 million shares under a new share repurchase program.

Staples, Inc. (SPLS) is falling 4 percent to $12.74. The company's fourth quarter profit plunged from the prior year period. Sales for the quarter rose 3 percent, but excluding the 53rd week in 2012, sales fell 4.2 percent. Meanwhile, the company hiked its dividend, but forecast 2013 earnings below Wall Street view.

Sohu.com Inc. (SOHU) is falling more than 8 percent to $44.75 after it denied rumors of going private.

Changyou.com Ltd. (CYOU) is down 7 percent to $30.02.

AeroVironment, Inc. (AVAV) is plunging 28 percent to $15.50 following the release of its quarterly results.
