United Microelectronics Corp. (UMC), a semiconductor wafer foundry, posted a 3.41 percent increase in February 2013 net sales to NT$8.73 billion, from NT$8.44 billion a year back.
For the period from January to February, the firm recorded net sales of NT$18.18 billion, up 5.18 percent from NT$17.29 billion last year.
