The Board of Rambus Inc. (RMBS) Monday named Eric Stang as its Chairman, effective immediately.
Stang is currently President and CEO of Ooma, Inc. Stang also serves on the boards of Solta Medical and two private companies.
The company also said, the size of the board will be reduced, following the retirement of Sunlin Chou, Harold Hughes and Abraham Sofaer from the Board, effective April 25.
Meanwhile, Rambus co-founder Michael Farmwald, will transit from active board member to the position of emeritus advisor to the Board.
