Motley Crue had to cancel a gig midway through after Vince Neil could no longer stand his bout of kidney stones. The band was playing at Sydney, Australia's Allphones Arena when Vinnie went down. However, as guitarist Nikki Sixx wrote on the band's Facebook page, Neil was a trooper to even get on the stage:
"He was doubled over on his dressing room floor five minutes 'til show time and was told by the promoter to not even play, but Vince said he couldn't do that to the fans."
"I've seen Vinnie go onstage with broken bones, his voice completely blown out and torn ligaments but he never ever cancels. Just like an athlete you sometimes have to play through the pain, but last night it became too excruciating."
According to CNN, the Crue have not canceled their Tuesday gig (March 12) in Brisbane.
