Krispy Kreme Doughnuts (KKD) reported fourth quarter adjusted net income of $0.11 per share after the close Thursday, up from $0.06 per share a year ago. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.12. The company also increased its full year 2014 EPS forecast to between $0.53 and $0.57, from prior expectations of $0.49 to $0.55. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.58. The stock is now down 0.45 on 48K shares.
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts traded in a range for the majority of Thursday's session and closed down by 0.01 at $14.95. The stock pulled back from the upper end of a week and a half long range at the highs of the year.
