Vera Bradley Inc. (VRA) Fell To A 2-Month Low On Weak Guidance

Vera Bradley Inc. (VRA) reported fourth quarter net income of $0.62 per share after the bell Wednesday, up from $0.50 per share in the previous year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.57. The company expects to report first quarter EPS of $0.20 to $0.22 and between $1.83 and $1.88 for the full year 2014. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $0.35 and $1.87.

Vera Bradley gapped open sharply lower Thursday and fell in early trade. The stock slipped further going into the close and finished down by 2.30 at $22.59 on above average volume. Vera Bradley closed testing support, trading at a 2-month low.
