BB&T Corporation (BBT) said it has increased its dividend by 15% to $0.23 per share in the first quarter.
"We remain strongly committed to our shareholders and are proud to have one of the strongest dividend yields and highest payout rates in the industry," said Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Kelly S. King.
