Gerry Weber Q1 Profit Flat; Revenues Rise

German fashion and lifestyle firm Gerry Weber International AG (GRYIF.PK) posted first-quarter profit flat with last year, with double-digit growth in revenues that benefited from new store openings.

For the first quarter, the group reported net income of 11.5 million euros and earnings per share of 0.25 euros, both same as last year.

In spite of one-time expenses for the Retail expansion, the group said, EBIT remained almost unchanged at 17.8 million euros in the quarter.

Sales revenues in the first quarter grew 12.0 percent to 184.9 million euros from 165.1 million euros a year ago. Retail revenues climbed 36.1 percent to 85.6 million euros.
