Taiwan's February Export Orders Decline Sharply

Taiwan's export orders declined for the first time in six months in February, the Ministry of Economic Affairs said Wednesday.

Orders were down 14.5 percent in February from the year ago, larger than the 3 percent fall forecast by economists and reversed January's 18 percent expansion.

Compared to January, export orders plunged 21.8 percent in February.
