Martinrea International Inc. (MRE.TO) Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net loss of C$6.6 million or C$0.08 per share, compared to net earnings of C$18.5 million or C$0.22 per share in the year ago quarter.

Adjusted earnings for the latest fourth quarter declined to C$12.6 million or C$0.15 per share from C$19.9 million or C$0.24 per share in the comparable quarter last year. On average, five analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected earnings of C$0.18 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.

Revenues for the quarter decreased 1.3 percent to C$705.60 million from C$714.83 million last year, while three analysts estimated revenues of C$690.87 million for the quarter.
