Asset management company Brewin Dolphin Holdings plc (BRW.L) Thursday announced that David Nicol has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Also, the company said that Jamie Matheson, Executive Chairman, has stepped down from the Board while Simon Miller has been appointed Non-Executive Chairman and Stephen Ford has been appointed an Executive Director, responsible for Investment Management. Further, the firm noted that current trading and outlook remained in line with its IMS announcement released on January 31.
The newly appointed Chief Executive officer joined the Board as a non-executive director in March 2012 and he worked for Morgan Stanley in both Operations and Finance positions.
Also, the outgoing Executive Chairman Jamie Matheson is expected to work with David Nicol and the management team to ensure a smooth transition to the new leadership, while also being able to devote more time to his other business and charitable interests.
