EntreMed Inc. (ENMD) reported a fourth-quarter net loss attributable to common shareholders of $0.4 million, or $0.02 per share, compared to net income of $0.7 million, or $0.06 per share for the fourth quarter 2011, reflecting decrease in revenues from royalties earned from Celgene Corporation's sales of Thalomid in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2012 compared to fiscal 2011.
"With the foundation established through our achievements in 2012 and our recent financing, we believe that we are well positioned to accomplish these objectives and look forward to continued progress in 2013," said Ken Ren, Chief Executive Officer.
Total revenues for the quarter declined to $0.7 million from $1.93 million in the year ago quarter.
