Canadian oil company Twin Butte Energy Ltd. (TBE.TO) posted fourth-quarter net loss of $5.4 million or $0.02 per share, narrower than $37.0 million or $0.27 per share in the comparable quarter last year.
On average, two analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn breakeven per share for the quarter.
Petroleum and natural gas sales for the latest fourth quarter were $88.67 million, compared with $41.22 million in the year-ago period.
