Basic Energy Services Inc. (BAS) Monday announced that Chief Executive and President Ken Huseman plans to retire at the end of 2013. The company plans to appoint Chief Operating Officer Roe Patterson to succeed Huseman, on or about January 1, 2014.

Huseman is expected to remain a member of the Board and it is anticipated that Patterson will be appointed to the Board on or about the effective date of his appointment as President and CEO.
