Black Box Corp. (BBOX), a communications system integrator, confirmed that Michael McAndrew has assumed the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, succeeding Terry Blakemore, who retired from the Chief Executive Officer position effective March 31, 2013.
In addition to his appointment to CEO, McAndrew will join the company's Board of Directors for a term expiring at the next annual meeting of stockholders. At that time, it is expected that he will stand for election by the stockholders.
Blakemore will remain a Director of the company until the next annual meeting of stockholders.
