Carl Zeiss Meditec (CZMWF.PK) reported a turnover of approx. 442 million euros in the first six months of the financial year 2012/2013, compared to 431.8 million euros prior year; a growth of around 3%. Adjusted for currency effects, revenues rose approximately 4%.
Sales in the Microsurgery strategic business unit grew by about 6%, while the Surgical Ophthalmology strategic business unit sales grew by around 16%. In the Ophthalmic Systems strategic business unit, revenues declined by around 5%.
