BFC Financial Corp. (BFCF) and Bluegreen Corp. (BXG) announced that the previously announced merger of Bluegreen into Woodbridge Holdings, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of BFC, became effective as of the close of trading today.
The company said under the terms of the merger agreement, each outstanding share of Bluegreen's Common Stock have been converted into the right to receive $10.00 in cash, without interest thereon and less any applicable withholding taxes.
