WestJet (WJA.TO) reported that its March traffic increased 8.2 percent year over year, while capacity was up 8.4 percent. Load factor was down 0.1 pts from prior year.
Traffic, measured in RPMs, increased to 1.83 billion from 1.69 billion last year. Capacity, measured in ASMs, was 2.12 billion, compared to 1.96 billion last year. Load factor was 86.1 percent, compared to 86.2% prior year.
