US Airways Group March Consolidated Traffic Up 5.2% - Quick Facts

US Airways Group Inc. (LCC) reported that its Consolidated traffic in March 2013 increased 5.2% from March 2012, on a Consolidated capacity increase of 3.3%.

The airline said its March 2013 Consolidated traffic rose 5.2% to 5.82 billion revenue passenger miles or RPMs from 5.53 billion RPMs in the same period last year.

The airline's March 2013 Consolidated capacity was 6.80 billion available seat miles or ASMs, up 3.3% from 6.59 billion ASMs in the prior year period.

Consolidated Load factor for March 2013 was 85.6%, up 1.6 points from 84.0% reported in March 2012.

March consolidated (mainline and Express) passenger revenue per available seat mile or PRASM was flat versus the same period last year.
