SNC-Lavalin (SNC.TO) announced the appointment of Alain-Pierre Raynaud as Chief Financial Officer and member of the Office of the President effective June 1. Raynaud follows Gilles Laramée as CFO. Laramée now continues exclusively in the role of Executive Vice-President for the company's Infrastructure, Concessions and Investments business unit.
Raynaud began his career as a financial analyst before moving to Renault in 1987, where he later became Senior Vice-President and Corporate Controller. In 2003, he moved to Japan as a member of Nissan's Executive Committee to oversee the group's Cost Control and IT services departments and lead its financial operations. Between 2006 and 2011, Raynaud was CFO of Areva. He was subsequently named Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Areva UK.
