National American University Holdings Inc. (NAUH) Wednesday reported third-quarter net income attributable to the company and subsidiaries of $1.6 million or $0.06 per share, compared to $0.5 million or $0.02 per share in the same quarter last year.
Meanwhile, total revenue for the quarter grew to $32.05 million from $29.94 million in the comparable quarter prior year.
On average, four analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected earnings of $0.08 per share on revenues of $33.25 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time gains or losses.
In addition, the company said its Board has authorized a cash dividend of $0.04 per share, payable on or about April, 12 to holders of record on March 29, 2013.
