Gold Fields Ltd. (GFI) Wednesday said first-quarter production for the new Gold Fields, excluding any contribution from Sibanye Gold, is expected to be 476 thousand gold-equivalent ounces.
The forecast is in line with the full-year production guidance of 1.83 million ounces to 1.90 million ounces.
First-quarter cash costs are expected to be approximately $830/oz, with NCE of approximately $1,290/oz. For the full-year cash cost and NCE are projected at $860/oz and $1,360/oz respectively.
