GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes S.A. (GOL) said Friday that SMILES, its subsidiary that manages the Smiles Program, has formed partnerships with two major retail chains, Polishop and Cybelar.

Clients of either chain who are registered with their respective relationship programs, will be able to accumulate points with SMILES.

According to Leonel Andrade, CEO of SMILES, "Polishop is a multichannel company with more than 170 stores throughout Brazil, which works with differentiated products, while Cybelar has more than 150 stores and aims to become the regional furniture and home appliance retail leader in the interior of Sao Paulo state."

The miles accumulated in SMILES can be redeemed for air tickets, called prize tickets, for flights throughout Brazil, Latin America and the Caribbean and to the five continents through GOL's partner airlines.

With the new purchasing platform, SMILES Shopping, it is also possible to redeem items such as electronic equipment, tickets for shows, home appliances, furniture, toys, household items and perfumery, among others.
