ScanSource Inc. (SCSC) announced that it expects third-quarter ended March 31, 2013 sales to be in the range of $672 million to $682 million, compared to $708 million for the same period one year ago. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expect the company to report revenues of $677.39 million for the third-quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
The company said in January that it expected net sales for the third-quarter to be in the range of $675 million to $695 million.
The company noted that on its April 25, 2013 quarter-end conference call, it will provide sales results by geographies and product areas, net earnings, and a forecast for the following quarter.
