Education Management Corp. (EDMC) Wednesday said it has appointed Mick Beekhuizen as its Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Joan Walker has been named Executive Vice President, Corporate Communications.
Beekhuizen was previously managing director of Goldman Sach's Merchant Banking Division in New York. He has also served on the board of EdgeMarc Energy Holdings, LLC and on the board of Education Management.
Walker most recently served as Executive Vice President, Corporate Relations at Allstate, where she also served as a member of the company's Senior Leadership Team.
