Tandy Leather Factory, Inc. (TLF) a company engaged in the wholesale and retail of leather products, Thursday reported higher sales for the month of March. The firm further said retail same store sales rose compared with the same period last year.
For the period, the company posted sales of $6.7 million, up 9 percent from $6.2 million posted a year earlier.
Retail Leathercraft's sales witnessed a rise at $4.1 million from $3.6 million posted last year, while comparable store sales were up 13 percent.
Wholesale Leathercraft posted sales of $2.4 million, up 1 percent compared with March 2012 sales of $2.3 million, while International Leathercraft reported March sales of $290,000, up 20 percent compared with prior-year sales of $241,000.
