Alkermes (ALKS) announced positive preliminary results from a phase 2 study of ALKS 5461, its drug compound for major depressive disorder.
Alkermes gapped open dramatically higher Wednesday and is now up 2.33 at $27.93 on above average volume. The stock has been rising for the last week and a half and has set its second consecutive new high for the year.
