Pennar Industries Ltd. announced the winning of orders aggregating to Rs.50 crore for cold formed profiles, tubes and engineering components from Integral Coach Factory, Texmaco, J. Kumar Infra Projects, ALF Engineering, IVRCL, IJM Infrastructure, among others.
The order from Integral Coach Factory, a unit of Indian Railways, was for supply of railway coach sections and sub assemblies, while that from Texmaco, a heavy engineering and steel foundry products, was for supply of rail wagons.
J. Kumar Infra Projects placed order for sheet piles meant for Delhi Metro Rail and the order from ALF Engineering, a leading OE manufacturer of automotive chassis, was for supply of tubes for M&M body frames.
The company secured an order from IVRCL, Pune, an engineering procurement and construction company, for deck sheets for power projects, while IJM (India) Infrastructure, a Malaysian Multinational, has placed order for safety barriers for their Vijayawada Road project.
The company said orders in hand for supply in Q1FY14 stood at Rs.177 crore, while the order-book stood at Rs.225 crore.
At the BSE, Pennar Industries closed Tuesday's trading at Rs.25.70, up 1.38 percent from the previous close.
