Non-GAAP net income for the quarter was $123.8 million or $0.24 per share, compared to $84.0 million or $0.16 per share in the same quarter last year. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.21 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Total net revenues for the quarter rose to $1.059 billion from $1.032 billion in the prior year quarter. Thirty three analysts had consensus revenue estimate of $1.07 billion for the quarter.
The company estimates revenue for the second quarter to be in the range of $1.070 billion to $1.100 billion. The company estimates that its non-GAAP net income per share will range between $0.22 and $0.26. Analysts expect the company to report earnings of $0.27 per share on revenues of $1.11 billion for the second-quarter.
